Batik Workshops
Starting at 9:30 a.m., this all day workshop will teach you the art of drawing and painting on fabric with wax and dyes.
Each student will bring at least one pencil drawn design on a pre-washed piece of cotton fabric,
about the size of a pillowcase.
Over a light breakfast, we will discuss the origins
of batik and its many different styles. We will go over the design you have brought and refine it,
if need be.
Then we will begin!
All materials will be provided.
While your first layers of dye are drying, we will have a full lunch by the pool. Please feel free to bring your bathing suits for a dip!
The cost is $165 per person
